Product information

Lignum is a high-quality handrail system made of solid beech wood (40 mm in diameter) with an impact protection insert and end bends made of polyamid or stainless steel. Lignum protect from ENTRO is a wooden handrail system offering exceptional impact protection. It combines wooden handrail functionality with that of wall protection and, as such, can also be used as bed protectors in hospitals and nursing homes for the elderly.

Only A-grade timber is used, without a soft core, steamed and stoce-driesd.
The surface finishes are sanded twice and coated twice with a clear protective varnish. An insert made of HPL-C with a black and white core structure is fitted for additional impact protection.
Bends made of polyamid or stainless steel enhance the impact resistance of the ends of the handrail still further.
Application:

Our proven connecting system comprising glued and screwed joints guarantees stable and visually perfect connections between bends, straight elements and supports. The symmetrical arrangement of the supports is standard. Any necessary butt joints are doweled and glued to provide a strong connection, with a chamfer (approx. 2 mm).
